As an independent wedding and family celebrant I believe that you are the most important people with your celebration, and I can create for you a beautifully personalised ceremony to suite your occasion. Whether it be for a wedding, a naming, a vow renewal, a life celebration or a funeral, I can make your event special and memorable.

The most important part of my job is to style a ceremony with you and for you, with all the traditional elements that you would love to include, along with a fabulous array of ideas to make your celebration a truly wonderful ocassion.

Ever since I can remember creativity is an important part of who I am. I love to be hands on, to use my imagination, to use the talents and skills I have been blessed with and some I have learnt along the way.

Working in education for over 25 years has given me the opportunity to hone what comes naturally, and improve upon it.  I am a natural born leader and organiser, and I am always thinking outside the box.  My celebrant training and qualification with the International College of Professional Celebrants, was second to none, fully equipping me with all resources and professionalism required at my finger tips.

I am ‘people person’ through and through, and as a trained counsellor for over 20 years, I have the experience to know what it is like to truly connect with people.  I take seriously and support the well being of others. I am also a trained mental health first aider; I know all too well that any major event in your life can be stressful and daunting. I notice and respond, and as a celebrant endeavour to ease your worries, nerves and stress.

I am a mother of two grown up daughters and very proud of their achievements. Married for the second time around in 2017, I share my daily life with the lovely Richard and my two adorable moggies.

I am Northamptonshire based, covering the East Midlands and undoubtedly willing to travel.  There are so many amazing locations and venues out there, I definitely wouldn’t want to miss the experience!
